Details
There are five pools at the fishery. Dragon, Oak, Brook, and Bens are all stocked similarly as above with carp ranging to mid 20s. Station is the specimen water with carp ranging to 30lb+. The ponds are fully accessible by car and 2 of the pools have pegs for the disabled anglers.

There are toilet facilities, an onsite cafe and baits and rigs available.

HOOKS

Strictly barbless hooks only !
Minimum size 20 maximum size 6

NETS

All landing (and keep nets pre match) must be dipped before fishing. All anglers must have, and use a landing net. 1 per angler, no sharing of nets allowed. Keepnets are only permitted in matches

Ground bait to be used in swimfeeders and pole cups only – we do not tolerate excessive groundbaiting.
Carp pellets maximum 16mm
Cat meat and dog food to be used only in moderation

LINE/TACKLE

Braid and Dacron can only be used on hook lengths
Maximum 10lb breaking strain – Minimum 2lb
Maximum lead weight 1.5oz
Semi fixed bolt rigs only permitted i.e. no shots, line stops, tied leads, tied or elasticated feeders

Additional Rules For The Specimen Pool

Maximum 2 rods per angler.

Only 1 angler per peg except peg no. 1 which is a 2 man peg if required. Anglers to fish within 2 metres either side of chosen peg number.

Each angler is required to have own landing net, and carp unhooking mat, which MUST be dipped before fishing.

No bait boats allowed.

Please be courteous to our bailiff, he is there to assist and protect the fish stock.

LINE/TACKLE/BAIT

STRICTLY BARBLESS HOOKS ONLY! No micro barbs or snapped off barbs. Maximum hook size 6.

Maximum line 15lb, recommended minimum of 6lb, with braid to be used only on the hooklength.

No bolt rigs allowed, only semi fixed, i.e. no tied or shotted leads, feeders etc. (Elasticated feeders are not permitted).

No Tiger nuts, Trout pellets, or seed baits.

Floating baits are only permitted with constant vigilance to wildlife.

Please do not leave your rods unattended, or leave your peg with any fish caught. Fish should be reintroduced into the lake within 5 minutes of landing. (No sacking or keep nets allowed).

Open matches held every saturday draw 9.00am fish 10.00-15.00pm £12.50inc bounus peg.Good light-hearted open plenty of banter.
