I went away to visit some relatives in a small town called Crookwell about 180 kms from where i live and i put some lures and a rod in the car just in case i had a chance to wet a line, after a day or two i snuck off to the local reservoir, Damn me there was a sign NO FISHING due to bluegreen algea present so i turned around and drove back to town cursing and swearing to myself, it then struck me that the sign was pretty old so i called in at the local council chambers to see what was what.To cut a long story short i was told that the sign was old but no fishing was allowed because the local council deemed it prudent to stop any fishing on the grounds of occupational health and safety reasons.
Well i like Queen Victoria was not amused.
Its not only in the U.K. that the P.c brigade have gone mad we have them here also.
Oh well you cant win them all.
All the best from here in OZ.
