| Around 4.5 acres in size this former claypit was allowed to fill with water around 150 years ago. Over the passed 10 years it has been well managed to provide a well balance eco system giving healthy fish and good growth rate. With nice sized carp, and 30+ pike this water is suited to specimen anglers or experienced anglers looking for a good "all round" days fishing. The lake has 54 pegs spaced generously at 11 meters apart. The silt bottom provides a good source of natural food making the fish not shy to bite. There is plenty of parking on site and certain pegs are well suited to disabled anglers. | |||||||
