Main Lake The main lake is the largest of the two lakes spanning two acres of our site. The lake is filled with many large fish going up to 31LBS. The lake is stocked with Carp to 31LBS a good head of Tench and Bream to 10LB. There are also plenty of smaller fish Roach, Rudd, Chub and Crucian Carp to 3LBS. Silver Bream are also plentiful if you just want a few fish and there are also eels to 6Lbs but bigger are rumoured and Pike to 28LBS plus. Ivors Pond Ivors pond is a small pond with plenty of small fish making it ideal for those just wanting to bag some fish or beginners to the sport. There are Roach and Rudd to about 1LBS 8OZ and Tench, Bream and Koi Carp to about 5LBS. Small tench are plentiful and give good sport on lighter tackle. There is also acommadation available on site. Rules
1.Nets to be dipped in dip provided. 2.Barbless hooks only 3.No bent hook rigs single hooks only 4.Unhooking mats to be used. 5. No Carp in keepnets or sacs 6. Fishing only in designated swims 7. No litter, radios or excessive noise 8. No bolt rigs, or fixed leads 9. Landing nets must be used for all fish 10. Anglers must be in possesion of an NRA licence 11. Maximum of 2 rods 12. No rods to be left unattended at any time 13.No live bait or course dead bait for pike 14. No anglers under 15 unless accompanied by a fishing adult ANGLERS WILL BE DEEMED TO HAVE READ THE RULES. ANY ANGLER CAUSING AN INFRIGMENT WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY WITH NO REFUND. BAILIFF ON SITE WILL BE MAKING PERIODIC CHECKS.

wheat Noobie Location: Derby		Just got back from a weeks break in the site caravan, clean, tidy, and OK for a fishing holiday. Weather was Rain and fishing difficult after spawning fish, but had grat fun on the small lake and 7.64 common on the large lake. No PBs but great fun. Ideal break with very nice people who could not do enough to help........ Thanks!!!

Barbelhead Noobie Location: bedfordshire		Had a weeks holiday here last year and was very impressed. Fished for most species and caught skimmers, Tench and Bream from all swims during the day. Fished for Carp in the evenings/night and was successful on meat catching regually. Largest 27lb. All areas fish well and the novice angler would do well to fish the small pond as this is a bite a chuck water. Accomadation is very good as well.

stuart_art Noobie Location: barnsley		match lake excellent!good weights all year round,thanks to the prolific head of silvers,ide,chub,skimmers,good size too,also loads of rudd,target silvers with mggt feeder to features,skimmers to pole bout 6-8mts,dont go too light though!loads of good carp make regular apperances!balanced tackle a must to avoid losses.down edge works too,try throughout the day,i stress again keep takle on the heavy side,this approach keeps carp losses to a minimum,and the ide and chub,arnt tackle shy!top venue for matches,can be won from most pegs.
