These 2 ponds are very popular throughout the local fishing community. The first pond is the bottom pond, This has now been dug close to ten years and has matured into a nice spot for fishing. It holds a large head of silvers and F1's making it popular for club matches. There are also nice carp in there to around 20lb. The water is very feature rich with a large central island and almost every peg having reeds and shelfs in the swim. There is also a nice 15lb ghostie in here as a bonus fish. The top pond holds the biggest fishing in this complex. It now holds carp to around the late 20's. There a few hotspots in this water and some other pegs can be fairly quiet, but if you find them and manage to get one you are almost guarnateed to have a good days fishing. The big pond also holds a nice sturgeon to around 13lb. There did used to be 2 however 1 was lost during the floods. |

pinchmill is now open to night fishing from £15 for 24 hours, my self and a friend have managed a few nights and its certainly an experiance we barely had any sleep as we were up all night with runs comeing every hour, we took fish to 14lb but lost a few that were very big. he has recently stocked the lake with carp over 10lb and the average fish now is a double! definatly worth trying if you all ready havnt |

YES I KNOW YOUR UGLY AND YES IV SEEN THE EMPTY BANK ACCOUNT![]() EVEN THOUGH I HAVNT FISHED THE TOP POND FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS I FOUND THAT THIS POND WAS A BIT OF A HIT AND MISS POND... YOU'LL BLANK ONE DAY AND A WEEK LATER YOU'LL HAVE A BITE EVERY CHUCK.. I FOUND THAT IT SEEMS TO FISH THE BEST IN THE SUMMER EVENING FROM AROUND 4 ONWARDS.... PLENTY OF CARP TO BE CAUGHT... FOR BEST RESULT FISH A HEFTY CHUNK OF LUNCHEN MEAT. IF YOU GO THROUGH THE GATE ON THE TOP POND .....WALK ACROSS THE GRASS TO A LITTLE BAY AND PARK YA ASS THERE ...JUST UNDER THE OVERHANGING TREE... FOR ME ITS THE BEST POG BY FAR, ITS ONLY ABOUT 3 FOOT... GIVE IT A TRY |

The bottom pond here is fishing well at the mo. Sweetcorn and pellet seem to be doing the trick. Tight Lines I might be ugly but just check out my empty bank account! |
